Legion 501 (2019)

The 501st Legion is an association of Star Wars lovers founded in 1997 in the USA by Albin Jonhson and Tom Crews to accurately recreate the characters of the saga created by George Lucas. Over time they began to dedicate their events to solidarity purposes, as well as to make visits to hospitals, usually focused on the little ones. There are now more than 13,500 members worldwide. They arrived in Spain in 2004 and, since then, the now more than 700 volunteers, carry out acts and solidarity parades throughout the country. Their costumes, faithful replicas of the costumes seen in the Star Wars films, represent all the characters of “the dark side” of the saga, the “bad guys”, as their motto says are “bad guys doing good things”. The filming aimed to promote the parade held in Salamanca on October 5 in which more than 800 members of La legión 501 Spanish Garrison participated.
