Salamanca is among the gastronomic destinations of reference. With two Michelin stars, the city has been growing in valuation and attractiveness for Salamancans and visitors, to which it offers a unique gastronomic trip.


Salamanca has products of extraordinary quality, the result of its diverse and spectacular ‘gastronomic landscapes’. Dehesas, lands of lentils and chickpeas, arrivals and saws, microclimates ideal for citrus, almonds, olive trees, etc.


Landscapes in which two wine routes are drawn, two different denominations (Sierra de Salamanca and Arribes), with wines (including ‘añejos’) that must be ‘learned’ to taste, but that make a difference; with meats full of flavor and agri-food industries committed to quality.


And an undoubted protagonist, the Iberian pig. The celebration of the International Iberian Forum has already become one of the gastronomic events of reference.

The City Council's commitment to gastronomy and restoration in the city is now more than a decade old, offering a destination that perfectly combines tradition and avant-garde. Under the Salamanca brand for Comérsela, it has managed to give an outstanding boost to the restaurant sector. His commitment to the local product is indisputable.
