The Viti





Of elegant and serious bullfighting, pundonoroso and honest in his work, brave and sober without easy concessions to the gallery. Master of the temple and creator of tasks of a surprising link. Its space houses numerous treasures that reflect its trajectory as one of the great bullfighters of its time.


White and gold took the alternative El Viti in Madrid on May 13, 1961. He had Gregorio Sánchez as his godfather and Diego Puerta as his witness. A bullfighter and three astronauts. Thus can be defined this poster signed by Santiago Martín along with the three famous astronauts who arrived on the Moon, Amstrong, Aldrin and Collins. Diego Puerta, Paco Camino and El Viti, a poster that would be repeated throughout many afternoons in the 70s.





Guapito was the bull that El Viti stoked in his alternative. Negro zaíno, belonged to the livestock of Alipio Pérez Tabernero Sanchón, to whom he cuts an ear. Another would start his second opponent, which earned him the exit on his shoulders.

Julio Robles

Robles was characterized by his deep bullfighting, classic, artist, and made it vibrate with his cape bullfighting.





The pink and gold terno exhibited in the museum was the dress that Julio Robles wore the afternoon of his debut with picadores in the Plaza de Lleida, on May 10, 1970, with steers by Ma Lourdes Martín Pérez Tabernero.


Jaranero was one of the most outstanding bulls in the trajectory of the Salamancan matador. He stole it at the San Isidro Fair of 1978, belonged to the livestock of Eugenio Lázaro Soria and cut off an ear.


The Monumental of Las Ventas became a talisman for the bullfighter of Fontiveros. In it he killed Sombrerito, from the livestock of Aldeanueva, on July 7, 1985. He cut off his ear and turned the wheel three times.


A great lover of outdoor activities and hunting, Robles wore this short suit on numerous occasions, both in outdoor activities and at various festivals.
