ROUND WOOLS. MEMORIES OF A FACTORY (1948-1984)
The Basilio Redondo factory was founded in 1948 and finally closed its doors in July 1984, after almost forty years of production. It was located in Chamberí, a district of Salamanca in which factories and warehouses had proliferated since the end of the 19th century, in the surroundings of the railway station located there, given its importance for the transport of goods. The text was written by Juan Luis Redondo, the last director of the factory. It describes, in detail, the manufacturing process of wool from its acquisition to tinting. 27, 5x15cm, 2,5€
