Percussion Ensemble Superior Conservatory of Music of Castilla y León

The Percussion Ensemble is one of the groups emerging from the Superior Conservatory of Music of Castilla y León (COSCYL), a result of the collective work developed within the percussion specialty and the artistic vocation of the center. Beyond strictly curricular work, and since the conservatory's creation, the ensemble has maintained continuous concert activity, projected both within and outside the academic sphere, participating in cultural cycles, festivals, and collaborations with institutions in the Community. For the occasion, the ensemble will transform the different rooms of the DA2 into its stage, integrating into the museum's exhibitions and generating a dialogue between music and visual arts. The proposal offers an immersive experience in which the public can explore the spaces while music intertwines with the displayed works, transforming the museum into a living and dynamic sound environment. This type of initiative reinforces the idea of the museum as an interdisciplinary meeting space and allows contemporary musical creation to reach new audiences in a broad cultural context.
