The Green Years

In collaboration with the Portuguese Cinematheque, which carried out a delicate restoration process, we will be able to see a classic of Portuguese cinema, Los verdes años (Os Verdes Anos, 1963), Paulo Rocha's debut film. The film marks the beginning of the Portuguese New Wave and a new generation of actors and technicians in Portuguese cinema. The film was awarded at the Locarno International Film Festival, where it premiered in 1964.
