Miguel Mihura's life was full of disappointments, heartbreaks, failures, and a success or two that appeared almost at the end of his days. A success, that of Tres sombreros de copa (Three Top Hats), which arrived when he managed to premiere his great work two decades after writing it. This is the story of that achievement, a somewhat bitter one. The story of a life split in half, that of Miguel and that of Mihura, which was always linked to the birth of his first text. Mihura, the last playwright is a tribute to theater, to its crafts, to our history and, especially, to Miguel Mihura. A comedy full of humor and love, a comedy that speaks of writing as an act of resistance and as a way to transcend reality, a comedy that, above all, will make us laugh and dream. A co-production by Nave 1O Matadero and Entrecajas Producciones Teatrales.
