Ieronimus will host a new edition of the Night of the Photographers next Thursday, August 19th, coinciding with World Photography Day. From 9:00 PM to 12:00 AM (midnight) (last admission at 11:00 PM), visitors, amateurs, and professional photographers will be able to capture images of any corner of the exhibition, using both cameras and mobile phones. Tickets to access the cathedral's towers can be purchased through the website www.ieronimus.es for 4 euros.
Following the success of previous years, visitors are once again offered this experience where, through the camera lens, they can enjoy new perspectives, observe, choose, apply all their sensitivity when capturing the image, and above all, take their time.
This event stems from the growing motivation of contemporary visitors to photograph, capture moments, and share them, which represents one of the biggest cultural shifts brought by new technologies. In this regard, Ieronimus is one of the spaces that offers the most possibilities, especially during nighttime hours. Its spectacular nature is complemented by the combination of its views, both exterior and interior, and the vision of unique settings and compositions to capture through a lens.
The spaces for this unique experience are those regularly used for night and day visits; therefore, and for security reasons, it is essential to adhere to the established spaces and operating rules.
The photographs taken can be shared on social media via #Ieronimus #worldphotoday or #DiaMundialDeLaFotografia, and on Ieronimus' Facebook profile @SalamancaIeronimus.
