Strategically located on the Ruta de la Plata (Silver Route), 15 minutes from the center of Salamanca, and 25 minutes from Zamora city.
In a 116-hectare dehesa (mediterranean forest/pasture) surrounded by holm oaks, cork oaks, and vineyards, stands the Castillo del Buen Amor (Castle of Good Love), a 15th-century Palace built on an 11th-century military fortress and declared a Site of Cultural Interest since 1931.
The building is structured around the central Gothic courtyard, housing what used to be the noble chambers of the Castle, the reception, the cafeteria, the library, and social lounges.
The restaurant, located in the castle's former stables, offers a cuisine that focuses on classic Castilian dishes with a personal touch and high-quality local products (km 0).
Accommodation:
We have 40 double rooms with full bathrooms, equipped with all amenities, and event rooms for business meetings and banquets for up to 230 guests.
Surroundings:
Outside, located in the moat, we find the summer swimming pool, several terraces, and in the vicinity, our organic garden “Huerto del Buen Sabor” (Garden of Good Flavor), a small lagoon, a labyrinth, and the winery, where tastings and other wine-related activities are held.
At the Castle, we also commit to clean energy; we have installed photovoltaic panels, Geothermal energy, and improved the energy efficiency of circulating pumps for the Castle's climate control.
As part of a package of measures designed to fulfill our commitment to the environment by drastically reducing our carbon footprint in our services. This way, we will stop emitting more than 172,000kg of CO2 per year.
We offer free parking and two charging points for electric cars.
