First activity: Residence of the Duke of Alba and museum.

A 16th-century palace, commissioned by the 3rd Count of Monterrey and built by Rodrigo Gil de Hontañón and Fray Martín de Santiago.

A historic building declared a National Monument in 1929, it is also one of the most cherished residences for the House of Alba, and one which the family continues to use today.

The visit offers a unique opportunity to delve into the family's most intimate environment, where guests can enjoy a significant art collection, including paintings by renowned artists such as José de Ribera, Alonso Sánchez Coello, and Carreño de Miranda, as well as furniture pieces ranging from the 16th to the 20th century, tapestries, and a wide variety of decorative arts.

Additionally, the palace offers the opportunity to host private events and activities, both in the halls open to the public and in areas not accessible to the general public.
