Salamanca Film Commission Attends Premiere of "Hotel Bitcoin" Feature Film

Salamanca Film Commission will attend tomorrow's premiere of the feature film 'Hotel Bitcoin', which will take place at 8:30 PM at the Capitol Cinemas on Madrid's Gran Vía. The film promises to be one of the year's top releases and stars Pablo Chiapaella, Alejo Sauras, Canco Rodríguez, Mauricio Ochamann, Marta Hazas, Vanesa Romero, and Leonor Lavado.

Salamanca Film Commission is attending the event as a representative of the Salamanca City Council, which was invited to the premiere of the feature film. The invitation was secured thanks to a collaboration that has spanned over 15 years with one of the film's directors: Manuel Sanabria.

Sanabria has a very special connection with Salamanca, as it was here that he pursued his Communication studies at the Pontifical University, as a member of the 94-99 graduating class. Furthermore, his first feature film, 'La Fiesta', featured a large technical and artistic crew from Salamanca, including Raúl Prieto, who was one of the protagonists.

Tomorrow, Manuel Sanabria, along with Carlos “Pocho” Villaverde, will premiere their third feature film as co-directors. The work promises to be one of the season's comedies and tells the story of four friends who discover a laptop containing 5,000 Bitcoins. To cash them in, they must wait until Monday, so they decide to lock themselves in a hotel for the weekend. Amidst parties, loan sharks, love, madness, and crime, they will have to protect their treasure.

The event is an excellent opportunity to promote Salamanca Film Commission, as a large number of producers and audiovisual professionals are expected to attend the premiere, such as screenwriter Ángela Obón and actress Vanesa Romero, both of whom participated as speakers at the Castilla y León Congress and Exhibition Center during the Second Audiovisual Conference organized by Salamanca Film Commission.
