Murder at the University (2018)
Historian Lara Cabanes (Leonor Watling) investigates the 16th-century murder, under strange circumstances, of Antonio de Román, a professor and Augustinian friar, master of a group of knowledge-hungry students led by the novice Luis de León (Patrick Criado). Cabanes delves into an era when the University of Salamanca was a place of fervent debates, as well as intrigues among professors and religious orders.
