The guided tours "Salamanca with a Woman's Voice" continue next week with two new sessions on October 20th and 21st. The activity, which has been very well received in other editions, is organized by the Casa de la Mujer Clara Campoamor and its School of Equality, in collaboration with Turismo de Salamanca.
The aim of this initiative is to make visible the relevant women in the history of Salamanca, highlighting their role in cultural, social, religious, literary and historical fields. Through a guided tour of the historic center and the exteriors of some monuments, participants will discover female figures who left their mark on the city, a World Heritage Site and the scene of transcendental events in the history of Spain.
The tours are free, last approximately 90 minutes and have a maximum capacity of 30 people. All of them depart from the Plaza Mayor at 4:30 p.m. This activity is scheduled for October 20th and 21st; November 5th, 6th, 17th and 18th; and December 10th, 11th, 15th and 16th.
With these routes, Salamanca offers a different perspective on its heritage, highlighting the women who were protagonists of their time and whose legacy continues to be part of the city's identity.
