INTERNATIONAL MUSEUM DAY 2019

On May 18, we commemorate, as every year, the International Museum Day. This year the theme proposed by ICOM is "Museums as Cultural Hubs: The Future of Tradition".

ICOM proposes to reflect on how museums, as they increasingly develop their roles as cultural centers, also find new ways to honor their collections, histories, and legacies, creating traditions that will have new meanings for future generations and new relevance for an increasingly diverse contemporary and global audience.
