COMMERCIAL DESIGN IN SALAMANCA DURING THE LAST DECADES OF THE 20TH CENTURY: FEATURING DESIGNER SALVADOR YÁÑEZ MONTERO.
The catalog includes some of the most representative works by Salvador Yáñez Montero
Salvador Yáñez Montero is a clear exponent of commercial design carried out in Spain during the last decades of the 20th century. He began his work in 1964 and concluded it at the beginning of the 21st century after almost forty years of professional dedication in the field of design and interior design. The number of commissions completed - about three hundred, to which his designs for private residences should be added - is the best proof of his professional recognition. A success based on adequate training and great artistic sensibility which he continues to foster today, as a draftsman and painter. Although he covered many commercial branches, his work in leisure venues such as; La Coquette, Atenas, Chez Víctor or Café Novelty is particularly interesting, as are other works such as the Official College of Physicians, Tintorerías Colella, Modas Ribert, El Adelanto Offices, etc.
The catalogs are sold for 3 € at the Museum of Commerce itself.
