Pablo García's Saddlery and Armory

Pablo García was one of the city's oldest commercial establishments. Founded in the 19th century, it continued for the next century, managed by César Álvarez Núñez and subsequently by his children César and Julia Álvarez García, until the dawn of the 21st century when it closed to the public.

This volume on the history of commerce has been written based on the memories that César Álvarez García kindly shared with the Museum. It is the wish of this institution that this publication, drafted with the utmost respect for a centenary firm, contribute to preserving the memory in the city of the former saddlery and armory of Pablo García.
